Fusion 360

Pros, Cons, and Best For

The software integrates directly with Inventables X-Carve machines but also outputs standard G-code for any GRBL-based machine. The compatibility is not as broad as VCarve but covers most hobby routers. The integrated control panel sends G-code directly to the machine without requiring a separate sender program.

Easel includes material profiles that set feeds and speeds automatically based on the material and tool selection. This removes the need to calculate chip loads manually. The profile library covers common materials like pine, plywood, acrylic, and aluminum with recommended settings.
